Optical
Our talented optical design engineers are experienced in rapid development, test and integration, and unconventional problem solving. Demonstrated success with complex designs that were rapidly developed is a plus. This position will assist in the development of advanced optical display and imaging systems. Focus on imaging systems, lens design, modeling, microscopy, lithography, diffractive optics & lasers, extensive experience in: holographic/diffractive optics, LEDs, lasers, imaging systems, involving the entire optical spectrum, proficiency in optical modeling software (ZEMAX), proficiency in RCWA technique.
-
Software
The CMC Software team has experience in software development, mechanical design, and electrical design. They have experience implementing complex systems from distributed multi-user augmented reality systems down to light weight low power intelligent displays. They work with Window, Linux, and various embedded systems such as RTOS and RTEMS. They are used to designing with tight constraints on power, space, and performance. They debug embedded system firmware with software breakpoints, oscilloscopes, and bus analyzers.
-
Electrical
The self-motivated CMC electrical team has vast experience in digital circuit design, layout and implementation, and rapidly developed complex designs. We are well-versed in PCB design software for schematic design and board layout, experience with system design, prototyping and evaluation, DSP or FPGA implementation experience. Analog design experience, system level design and working to interface design constraints, prototype design/assembly and troubleshooting, micro-controller/embedded system design and firmware programming, size, weight, and power minimization

Mechanical
The Mechanical Team has the ability to make direct and lasting impacts on the form and function of truly new and innovate world class products. The team is small and tight knit and believes in a healthy life work balance based around great people, boundaries, personal responsibility and open communication. Experienced in CAD, Manufacturing Processes, Engineering Analysis, and onsite-testing regiments (Stress, Thermal, Fluid, Fatigue, Shock, Vibrations). The team regularly conforms to engineering standards with GD&T drawings, revision control, IP protected exports and other. On top of that they manage most of the building systems and have a variety of very fine hand skills from the machine shop to electronic soldering to precise optical alignment.
